Downsizing means manythings to many people. The dictionary says "to make something smaller." That's easy enough but what is the "something?" It is said that the only constant thing is change. Everything in life changes, sometimes we want low maintenance because we move fast and want that low-drag, go anywhere, anytime life. Others, we want to nessle into a place for awhile. Maybe the house we want gets larger and the lot is what downsizes. Sometimes it may be important to have a larg lot for the pets to play in. Sometimes, something unexpected changes our needs. But in real estate, generally downsizing means having something to start with and simplyfying some aspect of life.
